They say that they want us dead.
They incite their listeners to riot, to commit murder, and some have:

I disagree with Moyers conclusion here. This isn't just an exercise in first amendment rights. This is a call to arms. A call to murder specific public figures, threats against both public figures and half the population of America, and action taken based on those calls for violence. This is what happened in Rwanda. You can't scream "fire" in a crowded theater, but can you ask millions of listeners to commit murder, telling them that they'll "save America" by doing so?

4. Agree with you.
I am a huge supporter of the First Amendment, but to me, some of the things that have happened by people claiming free speech are absolutely abhorent.

As far as I know, the First Amendment is not about promoting murder.

6. You can't lie under oath, you can't make false accusations that lead to an
arrest, you can be sued for defamation of character, you can be locked up for expressing a desire to kill a (republican) President. There are already limits on free speech. I thought that inciting to riot, a call for treason and murder threats were among them.

9. Yes but yet nothing is done about it. Too afraid of getting close to the line of
"free speech" issues. Blech*

took away from us.

5. Yes, this is a showcase of ugliness.
And you're right, this is how it started in Rwanda. It starts with demonization and dehumanization.

Luckily, most Americans see it for what it is. Only a knuckle-dragging minority take hate broadcasting seriously.

7. Unfortunately a couple have taken it seriously enough to kill
and when even the head Freeper-who we all know is a sniveling coward- talks of treason against the US by overthrowing the legitimately elected government (first one since 2006), then we know the crazy is running deep!

Truly, we need to have a few of those calling for bloodshed at least given a slap on the wrist. Bill Maher lost his job for saying far less. If it were a liberal calling for the overthrow of the government and mass murder of fellow citizens I think that charges would have been brought by now.

8. Agreed.
I'm not opposed to taking some action against them. All those profiled by Moyers need to be fired, at least.

14. Glen Beck and Michael Moore
from that link:
"GLENN BECK:I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out of him. Is this wrong?"

I wonder if the police checked this out. This was a direct threat to Moore.

These people do have the right to free speech but why do others encourage this type of talk? Why is this acceptable in our society for a t.v. host to spew this crap and not be investigated? If Olbermann started talking about killing O'Reilly or anyone else I'd want him investigated too.

16. The fact that Beck is on the air at all means that Fox should lose its licenses
for every TV station that it operates.
