They are doing it again...the tactics never change, it seems

They did in on tobacco. They have been doing it on global warming/climate change. Now they are doing it, again, on health care.

Deny, delay, distract.

Deny there is a real problem. We've finally got some of them to admit there is one. It's hard to get people who are making so much money to admit that there is a problem.

Delay the discussion and the proceedings. Can't rush something so important. Got to think this through. Let's have some more committee meetings. We just have to have bi-partisanship.

Distract. Everything from Michael Jackson died-OMG!!! The horrors!!!-to Professor Gates-now would be a good time to discuss how much of a racist our new president it-he hates White men, can't you see? The Main$treamMedia is so easy to distract with any story they can lead with besides all of this boring political stuff.

with outright lies, such as my RW friend telling me that Obama wants to euthanize my 90-year-old Mom and my RW neighbor refusing to accept homegrown tomatoes from me because Obama would tax her and wants to control the movement of every piece of food. They're putting lies in their heads just to instill fear. They don't want anyone actually liking Obama or approving of anything he does.
