Anybody have on Cronkite Remembers on Discovery Channel?

It is Walter telling the story of his life, in his own words. I think it is about 8 1 hour programs. I turned it on, and so far, it has been excellent. Highly recommended for anybody interested.

4. I'm watching it now and it's awesome. It looks like it goes

decade by decade and unfortunately I missed the everything up to the 60's and got to it at the beginning of the 70's but I'm glad I got it when I did.

It's like watching a whole lot of my life - post WWII - along with Uncle Walter.

My heart is breaking, though, for the sad times, for what we lost, and how today there is no one even close to this man's competence and stature........................

An incredible series--a gift to us all, really. Great thanks to those who made it possible. I hope they release this on DVD. I need to OWN this.
