There's a Kos diary today about Crazy Eileen, the birther who interrupted Congressman Castle's town meeting to wave a birth certificate in a baggie and scream insane accusations. The Kos diary references Delaware Online, which identifies her as Crazy Eileen, a frequent caller to local Delaware rightwing radio shows:

Clips from it have been featured worldwide -- on CNN, MSNBC, the Drudge Report, Rush Limbaugh's radio talk show -- and catapulted the woman into the unlikely role as a spokeswoman for the "birther" movement, whose members question whether Obama is a native-born American and eligible to serve as president.

The star of the show -- known as "Crazy Eileen" to callers of a Sussex County talk radio station -- has gone into seclusion, declining interviews and avoiding publicity, even as previous statements by her have emerged referring to Obama as "the antichrist" and speaking of aliens and angels.

Little is known about the woman who triggered the recent firestorm. Gaffney, the WGMD morning host, said she is believed to be from the Millsboro area.

According to another WGMD host, Jared Morris, she has been banned from calling the station -- known for its conservative leanings and hosts -- on several occasions.

In a call from a January show, on New Year's predictions, the woman discusses aliens, angels and the end of life on Earth, according to an audio clip Morris posted on YouTube this week.

She repeatedly has called Obama "the antichrist" on the airwaves, and "her phone calls have turned to faxes and threats," according to Morris.

"I have actually talked to an angel who came down in human form," she said during the Jan. 1 show. "We will have alien contact in October of this year, in the southwestern USA."

I poked around and found an energetic poster named "Eileen for Freedom/Liberty" who frequents Politico and Breitbart. I am convinced this is the same Eileen.

Dear Old Larse at 8:11 am…if you would have listened closely she described that birth certificate she was holding as having a “seal” on it of authenticity from the State…it was official!

I think most of us have “originals” and the more classy type that has our little footprints on, etc…we all know the difference…Old Larse…can’t pull the wool over the eyes of those who truly can see and hear!

A poster at Kos notes that the "classy type" with the wee footprints is actually a memento that hospitals give to new parents, not a legal, state-issued birth certificate. I'm wondering if that's what she had in the baggie?

There are tons more posts out there from the Birther Spokeswoman, assuming that Eileen for Freedom/Liberty is one and the same. She is batshit crazy. Delaware Online obviously has her name, since they note that she declines to comment, but did not publish it.

16. My step-son's birth cert. copy looks exactly like Obama's, except its FL

I'm not sure if there was a pretty little original one that went home with him from the hospital.. and lord knows if his whacky mother even still has it.. BUT the original issued from the hospital goes to state archives. The copy printed out at the official office looks exactly like Obama's and I used it to enroll him into school. He was born in 2004. I have my original one that my mom kept all those years from the hospital. My husband has no clue where his is. He would get a copy of his similar to that of my son's. I'm almost thinking that Pres. Obama could be one of those men who just never kept track of his.. or was never given the original.. or was lost somewhere along the way in his 48yrs. Its not unusual to have to request a copy of the the birth cert. I'm rather sure that the original from the hospital is long since shredded; it was 48 yrs ago. The copy in the database is good enough for Hawaii and the rest of the US, why not for crazy lady?

At the end of the day, this is racism, fear, kookism, and stupidity.
