health care bill scare tactics - much ado about nothing

This is a link to the health care bill approved along party lines in the House Committee. It is over 1,000 pages long and I have not read quite all of it but have been hearing (from Rebublicans) much reference to page 425(actually pp. 424-431) and they insist there are clauses that encourage elderly people to end their lives and clauses that support denying people life support. I think we need to be informed about what this bill actual says. My reading suggests that the new health care bill simply encourages 'advance care planning' for anyone on Medicare. I have been involved with end of life issues for a number of family members and friends and I applaud this insertion in the bill. Unfortunately, the noisy anti-reform people (Betsy McCaughey, Fox News, DeMint, Kyl, etc...)are spreading ever more false information and people unable to actually read the bill or unable to understand the appropriate meaning are falling in line. At least we can educate ourselves and read the bills to have the correct information to fight back.

I would appreciate feedback from anyone that reads into this bill other than an intelligent, practical approach to end of life issues.

Health care reform will give you Dutch Elm Disease.
It will rewrite your backup files, changing all your active verbs to passive tense and incorporating undetectable misspellings which grossly change the interpretations of key sentences.

If the "Health Care Reform Now" message is opened in a Windows environment, it will leave the toilet seat up and leave your hair dryer plugged in dangerously close to a full bathtub.

It will not only remove the forbidden tags from your mattresses and pillows, but it will also refill your skim milk with whole milk.
It will replace all your luncheon meat with Spam.
It will molecularly rearrange your cologne or perfume, causing it to smell like dill pickles.

It is insidious and subtle. It is dangerous and terrifying to behold.
