A new insane fake outrage issue of the day
Edited on Mon Jul-27-09 11:01 AM by Johonny
WTH. The new GI JOE Rise of Cobra has no freaking Roadblock! Apparently lazy Hasbro didn’t keep up their trademark and lost the rights to Roadblock, so they substituted Heavy Duty into the movie instead. They lost the rights to white action figures Flagg and Scarlet as well, but for them they just added the full name to them to get a new trademark. Roadblock wasn’t important enough to do this. They just substituted a lesser known Joe in his place. I guess they did this under the belief all black action figures look alike. A more horrific name change has not occurred since Kunta Kinta was beatin’ into accepting Toby as his slave name. Well I refuse to accept this Heavy Duty as Roadblock. It’s time to write Hasbro and ask them to Free Roadblock. Please let someone bring this to the attention of Obama in his next press conference. I need another fake outrage issue to distract the press and congress!

1. What's a roadblock?
I'm of the days of GI that was 12" tall and had the pull string for a voice.
When life like hair and kung fu grip was all the rage.

2. that's the old GI JOE
before they shrank him to 3.5" and made him more diverse.

Oh the joys of a completely Toy based movie industry.
