Heads Up: Howard Dean to Be A Temporary Host On Countdown? |
|
Edited on Mon Jul-27-09 07:26 PM by David Zephyr
Anyone know about this? Is this true?
I just got this e-mail from DFA that Howard Dean will be hosting Countdown.
If everyone already knows about this, I'm sorry for the duplicate "news".
Still, here's the e-message I got from DFA this afternoon.
--
"David - A lot of DFA members are familiar with the cable news channel MSNBC and Countdown with Keith Olbermann. If you're not, here's the deal -- whether counting down the top stories of the day or delivering his firebrand 'Special Comment' -- Keith Olbermann tells it like it is.
So when Olbermann goes on vacation, who do you think MSNBC wanted to take his place while he was gone? That's right, someone else who always tells it like it is -- our own Governor Howard Dean, M.D.
He's perfect for it too. Governor Dean isn't going on vacation. He's fighting for the choice of a public healthcare option everyday. He's hosting the show this week on Tuesday and Wednesday night and you can bet the healthcare battle in Congress will be his number one topic."

6. I wish he'd be the permanent host |
|
he isn't a trained TV performance artist, so we'd get the facts without the fake bluster.

7. Olbermann doesn't bluster and nothing he does is fake. |
|
He's also not a trained TV performance artist.
What, you think he's lying to you?

8. no, I know he isn't lying |
|
but I could do without the theatrics. I think the entire format of cable news shows today make a mockery of the serious issues we deal with. I am very happy we have KO instead of some conservative shithead though. Just my opinion.

10. Sorry, but I don't think Dean would be the best guest host. |
|
He has no experience broadcasting a live show.
