"Just imagine the above scenario for one minute- if you can"

So imagine for a minute, an army like the above, walking into your cities, raping and torturing your men, women and children, "smoking you out" if you move in your own streets, run over your cars if you did not move when asked to, "lit you up if you got too close", shot your taxi drivers for no reason, and threw a few others of you, off the bridge after interrogation, raped your teenage girls and wives and set their families on fire, destroyed your homes, walked into your central banks and just robbed your money, stole your museums and destroyed your historical sites - not that you have any - burned your fields, build walls around your neighborhoods, bombed your churches, pissed and spat on your bibles, left your hospitals and schools in shambles, murdered your scientists, professors, doctors, invited Canada with its armed militias to torture and finish off the rest of you, exiled 5 million of you, turned millions of your wives into widows and children into orphans, and you into beggars, used DU and white phosphorus and more, and more...
And last but not least arrested and brutally tortured members of your government and lynched your president -- All on bogus charges.

In your case it will not be bogus charges because you do possess WMD's and you have links with Al-Qaeda - you invented the damn thing.

Then when you confront us with our acts - we tell you, it's for your own good. We want you to be free from "tyranny". We may admit that we made a few errors and had a "few bad apples" and after all our braves boys are worn out and suffer from PTSD. But we assure you we made all those "sacrifices" for your own good.

Not only that - we also tell you that you are lying, exaggerating, that all of this never happened quite that way, and if we do admit to any of it - and you get angry, we denigrate you, insult you, humiliate you, then we preach into your heads about the virtues of forgiveness, turning the other cheek and patronize you about not being so "hateful".

Just imagine the above scenario for one minute. Stay with it for one minute...

Just one minute - if you can.

6. Recommend.
Some of us have been contemplating it for forty years. We lived it, so we don't have to imagine it.

The brains of most Americans are solidly in the grip of the Ministry of Propaganda and will never imagine, much less comprehend any such thing. But, thank you for trying to awaken us Orwellian_Ghost.

But I suppose the people who think of war as "glorious" and that we are "helping people" just passed over it.

11. But we were really scared!
I mean, 3,000 people died in a bad crime on a horrible day. And it scared us real bad. And a country with a big military, lots of guns and ammo, and a fool for a president doesn't make for a very promising mixture. Especially if there's money to be made from all that fear.

So, we're sort of sorry, Afghanistan. Our bad, Iraq. Try not to be a tempting target in the future if we get scared again. I'm not really sure what made either of you a tempting target before, but whatever it was, don't do it again. Here's twenty bucks to say let's forget the whole thing, 'K?

To think it over and attack the right somebodies tomorrow.

Which might have meant locking up whoever stood in the large room at the 23rd floor of the WTC 7, and co-ordinated the whole thing.

12. Truth is the Religion of Consensus
So how much a lie is mine?

Anything our political leaders tell us couldn’t possible be based on lies, after all, the evidence is clear that; truth is the religion of consensus, and dictated by the unelected powers that be (UPTB) and their corporately owned conservative biased, fraud, propaganda, fake news and entertainment machine, aka the M$M; and the venal politicians that are allowed too use this pulpit on the path to election, must champion and validate a myriad of manufactured truths and myths that spew from the dens of thieves, so as to give it the effect of being the monolith of objectivity, justice and noble causes. And the manufactures of truth are also the controllers of political debate, the deciders of our elections, and the keepers of indoctrinated paradigms taught in our so called educational institutions. Unfortunately truth and elections in America no longer has anything to do with actual facts, honesty nor love of justice, as it is all about consensus and faith in what we are told…

Faith that our politicians would never lie to or deceive us; faith that a bunch of Neanderthal knuckle dragging cave dwellers hate us for our freedom; faith that they hate Jews, Christians and Americans just for the sake of hating; faith that we armed and trained them and now fight and kill them all in the name of freedom and Democracy; faith that there leaders were not once the tyrannical products and puppets of American intervention; faith that our chickens didn’t come home to roost on 911; and faith that it has nothing to do with the fact that these war shattered countries are soaked with the blood of innocence as well as saturated with the property of those who plunder for noble causes - Shell, Exxon, Mobile oil et al and etc; but most important to what we believe as being true, is that there be a consensus in our faith towards our leaders as well as the dark blood soaked paths of plunder they have us faithfully follow.

So much so has our trust and faith in our leaders been violated by false pretenses which have led us away from the truth and too the aid of repressive tyrants; faith and trust has been turned into lethal weapons of mass deception; faith has become the antithesis of understanding, and trust the resolve of fools. The consequences of faith and trust have been unjustifiable death and destruction in far off lands and we the sheepeople get the bill…

Larry

16. I've carried those images in my head for the past 6 years....
How would I feel? I'm not a pacifist. If that happened here, I'd pick up a firearm and try to kill all the invaders I could.

And then there's my neighbor who says we should nuke 'em...turn everything into glass. Obviously, he's a little lacking in the empathy department.

January 2008

ORB - Opinion Research Business

January 2008 - Update on Iraqi Casualty Data

Further survey work undertaken by ORB, in association with its research partner IIACSS, confirms our earlier estimate that over 1,000,000 Iraqi citizens have died as a result of the conflict which started in 2003.

Following responses to ORB’s earlier work, which was based on survey work undertaken in primarily urban locations, we have conducted almost 600 additional interviews in rural communities. By and large the results are in line with the ‘urban results’ and we now estimate that the death toll between March 2003 and August 2007 is likely to have been of the order of 1,033,000. If one takes into account the margin of error associated with survey data of this nature then the estimated range is between 946,000 and 1,120,000.

Further information about the research, our calculations, questionnaire wording and data tables is available by clicking on the links below. Also available is an article providing background on IIACSS and its founding director Dr. Munqith Dagher.

30. K but too late to R ...
... I've often tried to explain this very scenario to "Murkans" who don't understand why 'those towel heads' hate us.

And (putting on flame retardant suit) I've thought that 9/11 was a dose of our own medicine back at us for all the random bombs we've dropped and shit we've started on fire and havoc we've caused in the middle east, almost on a daily basis for about 25 years.
