Poll question: What method of contact gets more attention from Congresscritters?
I have my own hunch, but want to see what others think.

If you've had direct experience working for a politician, or are/were an elected politician, please weigh in.

If you haven't, of course, weigh in anyway. :-)

8. Yep. I suspect some large denomination greenbacks slipped directly into their
pockets would earn a second or two of their attention, as well.

9. I agree--phone call to "constituent services," followed by fax of letter
later snail mailed, and a face-to-face contact at either a town hall or the legislative office (either locally or in DC, but get on the schedule first).

6. Fax. Old-fashioned...
...but it's paper, like snail-mail, you can wave it at someone, but fast, especially in this post-anthrax world. The phone number's on the top, so they can see that you're in district.

16. Other: donations and other bribes.
Money talks loudest.

Now, on a less-cynical level, working on someone's campaign gets their attention.
