2. AARP will not support any improvements in health care
because they are in bed with the insurance companies. Secure Horizons uses the name "AARP" to lure in customers.

Never mind all the Americans under age 50. Just make sure that WE have affordable coverage.

I thought so. Quite disingenuous of them, their document. AARP's involvement in that Medicare Part D bullshit is the main reason I have refused to join their organization.

6. same here.
I remember way back when the organization began, and my grandmother was gungho about a group to lobby for the elderly. I'm sure she's spinning in her grave over what corporate jackals they have become.
