3. I'm fed up with the "good ole boy" network
With apologies to progressive white men, I can not help but think we would ALL be better off if at least 1/2 of these old white men were sent packing.

4. "That one over there? He's a progressive."
"Sir, are you a progressive?"

"Why no, Patrick, I'll even show you my 'I hate progressives' membership card!"

"Thanks son, I thought it was a misunderstanding. Now lets get back to the business of screwing the American people. Commitee's in session."

8. The body language in that last photo is very telling
Graham is at peace with himself, knowing he did the right thing.

Kyl and Grassley are sitting with their heads in their hands, obviously suffering a few pangs of conscience over selling the country out to make party points.

These men know they're in the wrong. They're just too weak to do anything about it.

Sen. Leahy: "Hey, Jon! It's your old buddy Pat. Listen, I'm hoping to get at least one of you GOP folks on board to vote for Sotomayor and ..."

Sen. Kyl: "Go fuck yourself, Leahy. You want one of us to vote for her? Talk to that one." (gestures to Lindsey Graham)

Pic. 2
Sen. Leahy: "Hey! Psst! Hey, Lindsey!"

Sen. Graham: "Eh? Wha??"

Pic. 3
Sen. Leahy: "Hey, did you hear Kyl's voting against Sotomayor, even though his state's, what, 98.2 percent Hispanic?"

Sen. Graham: lol.

Pic. 4
Sen. Leahy: "It's true, dawg! Hey, YOU'RE voting for her, right? Kyl said you're cool."

Sen. Graham: "All right, all right. Up or down vote and all that. You know I'm a man of my word."

(both lol.)

Pic. 5
Sen. Kyl: "Man, how the hell am I gonna get re-elected?"

Sen. Graham . o O (Jesus, but my caucus has a lot of putzes.)
