1. He's ok, but kind of harsh on tv. Not sure harsh is the right word, but
the one word that came to mind right away. Maybe not smooth is more appropriate. Not that it's a bad thing, but not as easy to watch as say Keith.

5. I caught the tail end... will record the midnight show but
from the little I saw, it looked like he is not a natural when it comes to reading the teleprompter. I'm sure it was just nerves though and I'm sure he'll do a great job the next time he's on.

2. He gave good information
which is infinitely more important to me than "curb appeal". He rocked!

6. Yesterday's host was pretty good too..........
Thank whatever gods there are that it's not Shuster. Oddly, I found Richard Wolffe rather stiff...and I have always liked his voice. I find him wonderful when he's being interviewed, but lousy on the other end.

And yeah, Dean's not practiced, but he's not bad.

10. O'Donnell yesterday has had a few days practice, Wolffe could learn. He's quick-witted.

12. O'Donnell has acting and producing background. Experienced with media.
"Lawrence Francis O'Donnell, Jr. (born November 7,<1> 1955) is an MSNBC political analyst who has appeared on The McLaughlin Group and The Al Franken Show. He was also an Emmy Award-winning producer and writer for the NBC series The West Wing and creator and executive producer of the late NBC series, Mister Sterling. He also appears as a recurring supporting character on the HBO series Big Love, portraying an attorney."

14. I remembered West Wing, but didn't know the acting thing. He sees everything colored by '93 health
care attempt and is never positive.

7. I thought Dean did very well
His voice was soothing to listen to and contradicts the Scream image. He's no shock jock. I had wished that he would do a Special Comment on the health care issue.

9. I thought so too.
He seemed relieved when it was over and said it's harder than it looks. I did enjoy his hosting debut.

8. For his first time, he did a damn fine job
Howard mentioned to Keith twice "this is harder than it looks".

15. I thought he was excellent when he was asking questions.
I loved the guy who did the study on the VA. It was absolutely fascinating and a real eye opener. I always thought the VA had no funding and it was a real drag to deal with them.
