What if every time a Congressperson spoke on the floor on an issue
they were required to read the names of donor corporations, pacs, etc. who had anything to do with that issue ?

2. That would be cheaper
than the NASCAR type uniforms someone here suggested. How about a running disclaimer scrolling at the bottom of the screen on CSPAN?

someone who is a lot more facile with the computer than I should photshop (or whatever is the current term) a picture of your "favorite" (and I use that term loosely) Congressperson in a Taledega stock car with the appropriate logos. In fact, that would make a good add:

"We're here today with Senator John Cornhole, er Cornyn, the fastest person in Congress:"

3. Well, it would certainly keep the speeches short.

5. The disclosure portion of the speech would be the longest part
and, of course, they would be able to explain their connection ... if they had the gumption

6. Why, thank you
which means that the odds are slimm that my next 1000 posts or so will have anything at all of socially or politically redeeming importance ... but you'd better check them, just in case

8. I was sort of kidding, but...
it would best be done by the representative or senator reading the list him/her self. If you don't want to say, then don't take the pay.
