There is also a good bill from the HELP committee with Harkin and others supporting it. Once all of the bills come out of the various committees, it will be up to Reid to merge them and get something to the floor. Get the pressure on Spineless Reid people. Start writing and calling to make it clear to him that the populus wants a public option!!!

The Media is focusing on the finanace committee as its the most controversial in that it is trying to undermine Obama. They are going to promote the most controversial as they think it gets them ratings. Its not about the truth!!! Ed Shultz is no better unfortunately. Obama wants a public option. Its up to Reid and the senate and then the house to get a bill that the president will sign into law. Put the pressure where it belongs.

If Obama wasn't out there in the media daily, personally, healthcare reform would be dead. The MSM does not give voice to common sense dems and its intentional.

1. Let's not throw up our hands in dispair yet.
But I really want everyone to be pressing for single payer or at the very least a public option.

Righties are calling their reps. We need to be doing the same. We need to go all out right now.

2. Reid's view will likely also be conditioned by his upcoming race in 2010
So the people of Nevada will have considerable influence over what happens.

Or his state will kick him out like South Dakota kicked out Tom Daschle.
