Poll question: Blue Dogs or Bush Dogs?
What is a more appropriate name for these DINOs?

The word "Blue" infers a relationship to the Democratic Party, and adherence to Democratic ideology. "Blue" is a completely inappropriate word with which to identify this coalition. For this group to co-opt the word "Blue" is disrespectful to all real Democrats.

The word "Bush" infers a relationship to an unpopular, disgraced republican leader that stole an election, lied us into a war, wrecked our economy, and promoted policies that were, without exception, miserable failures. "Bush" is the perfect word with which to describe this coalition - it connotates corruption, greed, failure, and adherence to republican ideology.

If we all start referring to these DINOs as "Bush Dogs", and can get our progressive blogosphere and media to also refer to them as "Bush Dogs", maybe we can shame these weasels into either acting like Democrats or declining to seek another term as a Democratic legislator.

Should we rename the Blue Dog Coalition the Bush Dog Coalition?

2. Blue Cross Dogs has already been coined by liberal media and I think it fits.
They are nothing more than corporate whores. I don't think Bush has anything to do with their ideology but Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Health Care and all the rest of the minions have a lot to do with it especially when you look up their main campaign contributors.
