Does Judge Sotomayor have enough votes? I just heard
Nelson wasn't going to vote for her and Burr was just quoted as not going to vote for her. Burr didn't really surprise me but he likened it to why Obama didn't vote for Roberts. Burr is a dick.

Is there a list somewhere? I hope she has the votes.

3. yes. she has well over what's needed. I presume you're referring to Nelson of NE
and where did you hear he'll vote against her. you didn't provide a source. Anyway, she already has 5 repuke votes; Collins, Snow, Martinez, Lugar and Graham. She'll get at least 3 more. My bet is that all of the dems plus Bernie and Lieberman will vote for her.

4. Nelson is grandstanding
He's doing a little "to confirm or not to confirm" Hamlet soliloquy for anyone who gives a tin shit about what he says. Sotomayor will be a Supreme Court Justice, and the world will little note nor long remember any pontificating Ben Nelson had to make about the nomination. But it pleases him today to get in front of a reporter and make a show of being undecided.
