The truth about poll numbers that the media is purposely missing
many of those polled that gave the pres unfavorable numbers for healthcare policy and his handling of reform are those who wanted single payer and/or those who want him to be MORE forcefull!!!!

I hold to the belief that it is the same 20% that are opposed to reform. I think the underlying numbers, that over 60 percent want reform supports my hypothesis

2. the fact is that the media spins any numbers to make it sound like the president is
losing steam and that the dems are in big trouble in 2010... which they could be if they don't get a damned spine and some balls! they are so worried about getting re-elected, that they are ruining their chances for re-election!

3. Your analysis is as good as anyone else. I do not believe those
polls changed that fast. Sometimes the Media appear to pull
polls out of the air and they start trying to influence people
with the poll. They know there are people who will remember
the poll and in effort to like the others will change their
position. It is called using polls to change public opinion.

4. I agree and I emailed Ed and told him so. If the poll asked about those in favor of Single Payer it
would have had huge numbers. I also commented about his comment that Single Payer ain't gonna fly. HR 676 needs to be pounded into the media and the legislators now.
