What I will always remember Kay Bailey Hutchison for |
|
Is the look on her face when she learned that John McCain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate and how she barely avoided cracking up while making a positive remark to the reporter. Priceless.

2. what I will always remember KBH for: |
|
At a "town hall" type meeting in a school auditorium a few years ago.
During the Q&A after her presentation, a man went to the mic and started this horrible RANT about "them mexicans", how they are thieves and criminals and drunks and interlopers and all kinds of hateful bigoted things. KBH just stood there nodding her head, listening and watching, not questioning a thing. When he was finished i stood up, pointed a finger at him and YELLED "You are nothing but an ugly bigot!" He stared at me as he walked to his seat.
After about 5-10 seconds of KBH looking uncomfortable, she FINALLY said, rather weakly, that such talk is not welcome.

6. thank YOU for standing UP! |
|
yes, kbh is NO leader, she is a puppet of the bush-cheney-war-profiteers. & the scary-hysteria needs to be addressed, just the way YOU confronted it, immediately & honestly, as the nonsense it is. YOU are a LEADER! Good Job!

3. Considering the current Gov of Texas..Kay B Hutchinson is a breath of fresh air. |
|
and that's a lot to give coming from a solid old Dem like me. But then again, we're talking about empty suit Perry.
However KBH did make a statement today that she intends to work on defeating Obama's Health Care Plan before concentrating on her campaign back in Texas.
ok, maybe it was just one very quick breath of fresh air.

7. He really wanted Joe-mentum or Lindsey Graham-cracker |
|
The fact that he allowed himself to be buffaloed into accepting the "blind-date" with Mrs Moose, told us all that he was NOT a "decisive leader" or a "Maverick".. He was just a desperate toady, who was at the mercy of the religiosos who never liked him anyway.

8. I remember the Great Perjury Flip-Flop |
|
http://thinkprogress.org/2005/10/24/hutchison-flip-flop/Perjury is a crime... Unless it's a Republican. Politicians don't get publicly called on this hypocrisy nearly often enough.
