Desperate Repubs are pushing hate and racism...
They are beginning to worry that some type of health care reform will happen. They want nothing. They want to defeat it and stomp it into the ground forever.

However, the Democrats have been slowly grinding out a package of something that will pass. Few Democrats will like it but the Repubs will hate it. And the hate has come to the forefront.

Talk radio has its hate on the high volume. They are pulling no punches. The nutzoid, Mark Levin, is saying that Obama's health plan is a conspiracy to get black folks reparations. Glenn Beck outright calls Obama a "racist". Rush Limbaugh is all over the field. In the final analysis, they are pushing racism upon their weak-minded followers.

And it is a very dangerous trend. What's next? They call for open violence? They are desperate and should be taken very seriously.

1. And Rush Limbaugh feeds our troops a daily diet of racial hatred
Why is he allowed to remain on Armed Forces Radio?

6. Write your congressional delegation and ask that question
Hatch Act forbids political programming on Armed Forces Radio, I believe.

7. I don't understand it either.
It makes no sense to allow that blowhard to spew his hate and lies to he troops! The only think I can figure out is that the democrats are afraid that if they take him off, he will become a martyr for the right wing. But somehow they need to put a stop to this insanity of allowing him to spew hate to the military, it just doesn't make any sense. You can bet your last dollar that if a liberal was saying things against Bush, or any other republican president, and doing so in AFR, they would kick them off with out a second thought!

2. I agree that this is an extremely dangerous trend
Trying to de-legitimize Barack Obama, not only as President but as an American citizen, is playing with fire.

Can we re-release that report on RW domestic terrorism? Maybe something should be added about incitements to violence.

3. It's Diversions and Venom...
The GOOP knows if solid health care reform will doom their party to minority status for years and decades to come...just like how Social Security and other major programs during FDR created Democratic majorities for 40 years.

They see a very popular President they can't dirty with a sex scandal or other corruption (ignoring their own, as usual) so they need to create outrage of some sort that gets President Obama and the corporate media distracted. They can't control the debate and agenda through politics, so they've turned on the hate.

Yes, there are factions of the rushpublicans who need to be watched closely...all you have to do is go over to Freeperville and see it on display. But the eye needs to stay on the prize. As we're seeing the more "outrage" they throw the less serious people take them. And sadly, I expect more of the real losers on that side to snap...destroying lives all around them in the process. Unfortunately it may take a serious incident to finally get attention drawn to the violent nature of hate radio and the "modern" GOOP.

Believe it or not, President Obama and Democrats are winning the media wars. A year ago, ALL the networks were looking for a way to play the race card...Reverend Wright and they saw how it backfired. It's been good to see how not only did they discredit the barfers but tied it to the GOOP party...no longer being "rogues"...people are now equating rushpublicans with being racists, biggots, sexists and homophobes...the party of hate and no.
