2. Not a lot of charges on Bernie's card
He's paying the $395 card fee and some sort of other $75 fee.

Ruth was definitely living the good life. $2000 charge at Georgio Armani's in Paris.
$18.21 to Netflix
Thousands in charitable contributions

13. There's one with a $1066.41 food/beverage bill and a $60.00 tip.
Didn't someone tell Andrew Madoff it was other people's money he was spending?

6. It cover's 14 people ,, not just Bernie

I wish I had a card some super duper rich person would cover when I really needed it .

Because I would want to keep it as long as possible , I think I would rarely use it .

7. ok here is the best charge I found
Shana Madoff charged $935 to http://www.finra.org/AboutFINRA/index.htm">FINRA, probably to pay dues or something, and it's listed as "non-durable goods." A very appropriate expense classification if I've ever seen one.

9. The credit card companies tend to ascribe those "categories"
Bugs me... I buy office supplies and business equipment at Amazon all the time, but my card decides to call them all "recreation" -- if I could easily change them, I'd do it, but you have to go to a separate screen for each purchase and it's just annoying.

14. Someone dropped over 5k at the Montauk Yacht Club.
Edited on Fri Jul-31-09 01:14 AM by pinniped
Surprisingly, someone only spent a few hundred at Tiffany and Co.

They also like Apple computers, having dropped almost 5k there on 3 occasions.

I take it his fellow scumbags won't be charged in this super scam.
