Morning Joe Country Club set want you to know today that you are SCARED, I tell you, |
SCARED of healthcare reform. David Gregory pushes the dungball uphill today for the Rove machine. Mika tut tuts. Buchanan hems and haws. Joe wrings his hands and gnashes his teeth. Lawrence O'Donnell looks on in amusement at the tableau.
Fear, people. Go out and fear today. Change is a horrible thing.

2. i can't help but wonder what the family of that little boy with burns on 30% of his body |
who were lucky enough to have two off duty firefighters risk their lives to save them from a burning SUV think about heathcare reform as they have no insurance. The two firefighters are doing fundraisers to help them out with what are going to be some huge medical bills for all the surgeries the 4 year old are going to have. Is it related to this post?? Just in the sense that when the piece said the family had no health insurance, I immediately thought of why we need to do something. I am guessing if they were there from another state for the father to do some work, that they probably don't have access to insurance. And while it's great that the firefighters and others are willing to raise money to help this family, just the fact that they are dependent on the kindness of strangers.... it just makes you wonder. i don't know.

3. This is my very brief summary about the RW talking points this program |
is rolling out for the media today. They sofly push out the RW attack for the day in the guise of friendly chatter. Then the more rabid messengers whip it to a froth as the day progress. It's a good way to see where the discourse will be heading for the day. Today it will be that we are more afraid of change than we are of being cheated of a responsive healthcare system and our money by a corrupt system.
