Where are the ads showing health care horror stories?
With all of the ridiculous "scare" ads put out by the insurance companies, where are our ads with the real story of cancer ridden young mothers denied treatment and people losing their homes and lives because of the unfettered greed of the health care industry?

I saw the stupid "snail" ad. Who cares if somebody kills a snail? What does that mean to anyone? It's all about politics while the wingnut are going straight for the gut as usual.

1. Why not make own...
..then load it up to youtube and send out? I mean...think about it..if people just simply spent a few minutes looking into their webcam..told their story..uploaded it to the web and let it go viral..think of what an impact it could make. A real grassroots movement...no money...no political interests...just people sharing their stories with their neighbors urging each other to call their congress person.

Everyone has, or knows someone who has, an insurance horror story.

Edited to add: Welcome to DU:hi:

4. TV ads are expensive to make and run and news shows are the most expensive
ad times there are.

The anti-HC ads are paid for by Big Pharma and Big Money. Us ordinary people can't afford that.

5. That is true
but these days if something like the homemade testimonials posed earlier goes viral, it becomes a news story, no ad time needed. There's no guarantee of that of course, but at least it has become a possibility.
