I heard a bill has been introduced by a Democrat to eliminate Medicare
Republican assholes are tightening as I type..How WILL they vote on such a bill?

5. It has been some time since I visited DU front page
I wasn't here much yesterday so I missed it I guess..lol It was a great move to use their votes in the future..

3. if a dem did introduce a bill to do that, it's a trick.... the republicans know better
than to vote to get rid of medicare. They can go around talking about how awful and costly it is, but they wouldn't dare go on record voting to eliminate it.

13. now if only they could use that to show the republicans for what they truly are...
because medicare is a government administered health care plan, and since the republicans keep saying that government being involved in healthcare is a terrible thing... in the interest of the country and all those seniors who are trapped in a government program they would want to do the right thing, right???

14. that's how terrible and awful medicare is.... the people that would love to
dismantle it wouldn't dare. they know it would be the end of them if they did. but they still use it as some example of how terrible governemnt involvement in anything is.
