Cash for Clunkers.

They need to go back to their districts with something positive to talk about. This is it.

Never mind that (for the Blue Dogs and GOPers) it is nothing more or less than a government giveaway. Nobody bitches when they get real shit to put in their own pockets. "Great program." "Look what ***I*** brung ya."

I'm not crabbing about the program here. I am simply commenting on how FUCKING TRANSPARENT is the self-interest that drives every single fucking member of our Congress.

Commander Bunnypants even cut one of his interminable vacations at his "ranch" short to dash back to Washington to sign the legislation into law. That happened with incredible speed once the Florida state courts decided that the issue had been settled in a way that displeased some Republicans.
