We got 'em where we want 'em.

Reports are coming in today that Congressmen and Senators on Capitol Hill are so afraid of the ire of their constituents back home that they are canceling town hall meetings right and left:

We should encourage people to stand guard at their local offices and collect all of the letters of protest and offer to film anyone that wants to leave a video message for their congress slime person.

Maybe we can block their doors with an avalanche of letters? We would need to make sure that the people are trustworthy as the Marxists would show up and trash the letters. If their offices are closed, take the letters home so that they would be secure. Deliver them to the office when they open up.

1. Interesting how quickly they turn
As for the last comment about posting people at local offices for congress critters, I'm a little surprised that none of them have jobs to go to that might prevent their lolling around an office all day, "standing guard," collecting letters and videotaping other batshit crazy assholes.

4. They make the same complaint about our protests
But I suspect in both cases these are people willing to strain their work relationships a bit in order to do what they think of as the right think.

But they are still willing to ram through health care, cap and tax, etc.

They really do think they are above needing to be accountable to their voters.

I guess only time will tell when they come up for re-election or or not if they get away with this.

But knowing how dumb voters are and willing to forgive their elected official who knows. Otherwise how could they continue to get re-elected over and over.

It must be a bit of an eye opener for them to find out that their plans are not as popular as they thought. They've been telling people what they wanted to do for years, and republicans have been "holding them back." Now they have to deliver on their promises they find that the number of people supporting them was really a lot smaller than it appeared and the quiet majority has suddenly become a lot louder. I think 2010 might just be a huge "dump the idiots" year. I'm going to guess that the people who voted properly will be spared from the backlash, but pity the poor democrats and RINOs who followed Pelosi and Reid over the cliff.
"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ... And what country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." --Thomas Jefferson

“I’m curious if any are facing recall efforts.”

***

I don’t know about that, but I do know a number of congresspersons and senators are facing re-election. My favorite, the traitor Republican turned Democrat, Sen. Arlen Specter is one of them. I haven’t looked at his poll numbers lately, but last I looked, his chances for re-election were not good.

Our best chances at really thwarting these plans to force us into slavery will be the elections and making sure the traitors don’t get back into office. Seems to me that without his “friends” in both houses of Congress, Obama’s plans will be swirling the bowl.

I predict a false flag event before the 2010 elections that cause them to be suspended. These insane dems will not let the people vote them out. They will use the crisis to prevent that and to put in place more things they’d never get done without a crisis.

If this happens and it hasn’t started beforehand, CWII begins shortly thereafter.

Do no tlet them get away with this...email, phone, fax, write editorials, hold meetings for them and point out when they do not come.
This Health Care monstrosity must be defeated.

Here is a link to the full House Democrat Health Care Plan in PDF. In Section 1233 E & F, pages 426-433, you find the part about mandatory end-of-life counseling for anyone over 65 years of age. Section 152 Page 50: All healthcare services will be provided without regard to "personal characteristcs" which is not defined within the document but is understood to include immigration status.

Section 224 b Page 125: The Secretary shall design and implement the payment mechanisms and policies under this section in a manner that — (1) seeks to (B) reduce health disparities (including racial, ethnic and other disparities).

A lot more provisions now being documented at that site.

Donwload it, read it, study it, then hammer your reps over it and pass it on to all you know asking them to do the same.

Members of Congress/Senate -

Fine.

If you won’t listen to us in a town hall setting, we’ll talk to you in person at your home and in front of your family. I will still write each and every one that represents me. But you WILL be seeing my face.

If my representative fails to represent me, I’ll vote for someone who will.
- By voting on legislation that you haven’t even had time to read, you have failed to represent me.
- By ducking out of town hall meetings, you fail to represent me.
- By making unpopular life-altering decisions based only on party line policies, you fail to represent me.

NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION

Please check out if your Senator or Representative is holding a public forum or Townhall in your area. So far I have found this list of upcoming Townhalls.

Please list the name of your Representative or Senator who are NOT holding any public meetings.

We need to know who is hiding from their voters.

So far, the following are hiding from voters in Massachusetts, NO TOWNHALL SCHEDULED:

-Ed Markey, Representative,Democrat, no public meeting

-John Kerry, Senator,Democrat, no public meeting

-Ted Kennedy, Senator, Democrat, no public meeting

********

For all those who don't have a Healthcare Townhall to attend because your Senator/Congressman are in hiding.
Please see the link below for date and time to report to their offices. Nationwide PUSH.

Grab signs, mikes and bullhorns and picket outside their offices -— and in parking lots.

Call local/community media ahead. Have specific talking points, and get there earlier than ACORN.

If you can, hand out the twitter page on Health Care provisions.

Reports are coming in today that Congressmen and Senators on Capitol Hill are so afraid of the ire of their constituents back home that they are canceling town hall meetings right and left:
If the commies won't come to the people that they represent, then we need to go to them. Find them and update them on the true IRE of the American people. Don't let up on these useless idiots. They've defied the electorate too many times.

But the congressmen think we don’t know what’s good for us. They think that they are taking on “tough” issues and have been avoided for decades and that their bill is the end all for healthcare.

I have written to my Senator, Dick Durbin, twice in the last 3 days to remind him that he works for me, and the rest of the people of Illinois, and to demand that if Congress manages to shove Obamacare down our throats that he had better be sure he and his family are enrolled in the public plan.

Keep up the pressure, people, we can defeat Obamacare and take back the Congress in 2010.

12. This site looks like it might be the terrorist's headquarters.

About
Some Background
The core groups behind the Tax Day Tea Party, joined by a plethora of liberty movement minded organizations, coalitions and grassroots groups, are once again working together in a unified effort for freedom.

The initial project, as most Americans know, helped organize the April 15th, Tax Day Tea Party effort that resulted in a day of rallies in more than 835 cities across all 50 states. The TaxDayTeaParty.com website witnessed more than 1.7 MILLION unique visits in less than six weeks.

This success was only possible because of a coalition of groups and Americans working towards the same goal in a collaborative and unified effort.

The Problem
We as a coalition believe that our Government has crossed the line. This betrayal began at the end of the Bush administration when the bailouts started being pushed through and our free-market foundation came under attack.

The current administration and congress has intensified the attacks on the foundation of America. First it was the wildly irresponsible “Stimulus Package” that only “stimulated” the pockets of special interest groups… all at the expense of the taxpayers.

Then came the constant nationalizing of the private industry and the declaration of war against the free-market system and private business.

The final blow appears to be in the form of fully socialized healthcare. If passed, we believe this legislation will create problems that are virtually impossible to fix. We also believe that if this legislation is passed, the private industry and small businesses of America will face certain death in the very near future.

This is unacceptable.

Operation Recess Rally
On August 22nd, 2009, during the break in session, we the people fully intend to hold mass rallies outside of every single congressional office in the country.

These events will represent a strong statement that we’ve been pushed to the edge and simply cannot be pushed any further. It is at this time that we will also hand deliver a coalition letter to every single congressional office in the country.

Your Help Required
As was the case with the Tax Day Tea Party, this MUST be a grassroots powered, collaborative effort. This means that people like YOU will have to take ownership at the local level.

We need local organizers to began organizing, we need activist to help activate, and we need all hands on deck to help spread the word.

The concept is simple, the operation brand is simple… now all we need to do is implement it.

Project/Operation Name: Recess Rally
Operation Date: August 22nd, 2009
Operation Location: Congressional District Offices
Information Contact: rally@americanlibertyalliance.com

Town halls gone wild
Politico ^ | 7/31/09 | ALEX ISENSTADT

Posted on Friday, July 31, 2009 10:20:11 AM by ttjemery

Edited on Friday, July 31, 2009 12:51:10 PM by Admin Moderator.

Screaming constituents, protesters dragged out by the cops, congressmen fearful for their safety — welcome to the new town-hall-style meeting, the once-staid forum that is rapidly turning into a house of horrors for members of Congress.

On the eve of the August recess, members are reporting meetings that have gone terribly awry, marked by angry, sign-carrying mobs and disruptive behavior. In at least one case, a congressman has stopped holding town hall events because the situation has spiraled so far out of control.

“I had felt they would be pointless,” Rep. Tim Bishop (D-N.Y.) told POLITICO, referring to his recent decision to suspend the events in his Long Island district. “There is no point in meeting with my constituents and listen to them and have them listen to you if what is basically an unruly mob prevents you from having an intelligent conversation.”

In Bishop’s case, his decision came on the heels of a June 22 event he held in Setauket, N.Y., in which protesters dominated the meeting by shouting criticisms at the congressman for his positions on energy policy, health care and the bailout of the auto industry.

Within an hour of the disruption, police were called in to escort the 59-year-old Democrat — who has held more than 100 town hall meetings since he was elected in 2002 — to his car safely.

“I have no problem with someone disagreeing with positions I hold,” Bishop said, noting that, for the time being, he was using other platforms to communicate with his constituents. “But I also believe no one is served if you can’t talk through differences.”

Bishop isn’t the only one confronted by boiling anger and rising incivility. At a health care town hall event in Syracuse, N.Y., earlier this month, police were called in to restore order, and at least one heckler was taken away by local police. Close to 100 sign-carrying protesters greeted Rep. Allen Boyd (D-Fla.) at a late June community college small-business development forum in Panama City, Fla. Last week, Danville, Va., anti-tax tea party activists claimed they were “refused an opportunity” to ask Rep. Thomas Perriello (D-Va.) a question at a town hall event and instructed by a plainclothes police officer to leave the property after they attempted to hold up protest signs.

The town halls are going wild because the people are tied of the lies and the absolute monstrosities that these Congressmen, particularly the DNC, are producing.
It should be a message to them about what is coming in 2010.

The Dem Health Care Plan, Obama Care, provides another perfect opportunity to drive that message home.

HOUSE DEMOCRAT HEALTH CARE PLAN - http://www.jeffhead.com/DemHealthCare.htm

Also, here's a large image of the Democratic (Obama) Health Plan chart-another Obama empty promise. This is the one the House democrats are censuring. Email these links or the image to everyone you know.

20. Are we sure it's all on the Right?

I know a lot of people on our side planned to be heard over the recess. Is this another case where the media is portraying anyone angry about Health Care Reform as "opposed" to HCR when many of the protestors are angry because we wanted "more" HCR?

You can’t legally recall a U.S. Senator.

A few states allow you to recall your STATE legislators.

National legislators must be defeated at the ballot box or in rare instances the House or Senate themselves can expell them from those Bodies or refuse to seat them.

Congress fears voters

And well they should. They were elected to serve the interest of their constituents, not the usurper or his minions.

They forget that the people pay their salaries, they get elected to serve our interests, that they are the peoples employees. They can lose their positions as easily as we can lose our employment.

Let them feel the wrath of their voters, they should remember that could be worse

When the liar-in-chief came to Bristol, VA this week, he had a perfectly sympathetic ‘hall’ of union workers only at Kroger in Bristol. He had complete control over the event. The reason the demcorats have cancelled their townhall meetings is that they have yet to get the audience selected for effect. You can bet Axelgrease is sending out instructions and listings of ACORN, unions, etc to be placed in the audience of the rescheduled events.

But knowing how dumb voters are and willing to forgive their elected official who knows. Otherwise how could they continue to get re-elected over and over.
+++++++++++++++

Normally, I’d agree with you about incumbancy and the dumbed down electorate, or the apathetic disengaged electorate - but the mood’s different this time...I think there’s genuine basic anger out there, and everything these Dim bulbs does seems to be FUEL FOR THE FIRE!

I think it is TERRIBLE that they are not meeting with the people they represent. Just terrible. Cowardly. And wrong. Perhaps people need to visit their offices and homes.

What the hell happened to representative democracy? At this point they are more afraid of Pelosi and Obama. Well, it’s our turn to really give them something to worry about!....Like unemployment!!!

31. What cute little dreamers they are.
'That’s ok...we’ll protest at their offices and at their homes. They’ll hear from us and then on 09/12 we’ll protest at the capital and WH...maybe 500,000 to a million strong. We will not sit back and let them socialize our country!'

Congress members won't take calls on healthcare.Posted by Gail Morgan on July 29, 2009 at 11:22am in Uncategorized

.I just tried to call John Lewis(GA) and got his staff. I was told he would not take my comment because I lived out of his district. I explained I was a GA and US citizen and his actions affect me. I was basically told to go bother my own representatives. I said that I would put the word out that he wouldn't take our calls and that we are now organized and will work both financially and bodily to remove anyone who refuses to listen to the citizens of this country. He hung up on me.

Pelosi's office won't even answer her phones.

My request is for all of you to call everyone of them and let them know we are organized and will follow through. We have to be as organized as ACORN but do it legally. They do not believe we are organizing and do not take us seriously. Share

Hi - I tried to get the schedule for Frank Lobiondo during the August recess. I was told there were no meetings scheduled. I questioned why he wouldn't want to meet with his constituents & the answer was they have no idea. I said I will just stand outside his house thank-you very much. He was one of the few republicans that voted for cap & tax. I feel like I want to give up but I know I can't & I won't.

Hmmm. Interesting idea stand out side his house. What a great idea. Wonder how we could get the addresses of all 545 of our supposed representatives. They wont meet with us we should schedule a meeting with them :-)► Reply to This

That is a wonderful idea. It would not take many folks to draw the media. If ACORN can gather at the houses of Bank Managers and AIG execs, then there should be no problem with Citizens gathering at the homes of Congress Critters.

It looks like our Leader was given a fine welcome in Raleigh and Virginia today. Well done to any Tea Party Patriots who participated.

If you are a voting constituent, BE A CONSTITUENT.
If they do not take you calls or faxes, call the local radio station.
Call the local paper.
Make this a LOCAL issue.

If every one of us does that, the local media will start to notice!► Reply to This

Peter,
I live in a very rural area where the newspaper (The Clayton Tribune, Clayton GA) will not allow me to write to the editor more than once a month and limits me to 300 words. Very liberal paper. I went after them for hiring an illegal columnist who has since gone to work for CNN. Funny thing how we who differ from their views are limited yet others have written weekly. Same goes for Atlanta Journal. Hard to get published if you are conservative.► Reply to This

The people need to put the fear of God in these people in Washington or we won’t even have a country anymore because they seem to represent their own interest.
++++++++++++++++

That may be the case with a good number of these career politicians...and then there are those that represent international socialism/communism.

But NOT THIS TIME, you lying liars! We’re going to take this battle right into your grill.

I don't belive it's possible to recall Congressmen or Senators. They can be impeached, just like any other Federal official, but I believe that no Congressmen and only a single Senator have been impeached, in the history of the country.
They do have to run for reelection, and about 1/3 of Senators, and all Congressmen will need to do that next year.

More good information to use in the fight...

Whenever you go to protest the BammyCare plan, keep in mind that people will walk by and want to know, ‘well, what is your plan.’

This is a good one sheet flier you can hand them!
