this protest in Columbus yesterday? According to our local Republican owned paper (thousands) showed up to protest Obama's spending and Socialism. today, I went to the Columbus Dispatch site and couldn't find anything. I searched protest in Columbus on Google to find the story. Apparently it's a lot bigger story here than in Columbus. Both our local papers are owned by the same right-wing family, they are like Faux every day there is an anti Obama front page and anti-Obama editorials.

They gave their solemn word they would show up for the "Fire Letterman" rally. Maybe a dozen actually showed up. They were outnumbered by the media three-to-one. Dave laughed at them in his monologues for days after that. So I wouldn't worry a hell of a lot about this.
