Glenn Beck's birthday message to Obama

A eight minute video on Faux Nation web page, about a minute through it.

Its quite sad, hes putting on his mocking voice while mentioning Obama's parents and how they meet.

He reminds me of a guy I went to school with who made fun of people who were different.

When I decide to go over to the dark side and watch the odd faux news video to see what they are up (Hannity, Oleilly, fox and friends) I feel angry.

When I watch Beck I feel sad and upset because he reminds me of all the school bullies I use to know.

The ones that were just nasty and cruel and would laugh about it.

1. I tried to watch that

hateful piece of sarcastic tripe. It wasn't funny. It wasn't true. At the end Glenn brought out a cake with the candles in a sickle formation then added a star with great flourish.

He was so fucking proud of himself he could hardly containhis glee. Soo creative!

Glenn Beck is catering to the bottom feeders. I can't imagine that even thinking honest conservatives would fine his crap the least bit amusing. Dumb, ignorant assholes would probably get a kick out of it. This is what Fox has become. Pond scum for the bottom feeders.

4. He has a troubled history -

one of his parents - I think his father - committed suicide. I think a sibling did, too. That's the kind of thing that affects the survivors, affects them severely, for the rest of their lives.

He cops to having had a bad drinking problem, and I'd bet anything that he did any drug he could get his hands on.

Then he found jesus and cleaned it all up.

But the underlying pathologies are still intact, and it appears he's found an extremely creative and profitable way of using the anger that defines him - and cripples him - to relieve the constant anxiety that that anger produces in him.

If your father committed suicide when you were a youngster, you'd be angry, too.

He's not going to be able to maintain this forever - Obama won't be President forever - and then Beck will be thwarted. When he loses his audience, as he eventually will, the underlying issues will overtake him and then the trouble will really begin.

He is a haunted, frightened, tortured man. But, he is also vile, a hater of the first magnitude, doing very bad, harmful, mean things just to make himself feel better (and rich). The horror is the people who are capitalizing on his fragmented personality.......................

5. If that's the case

he needs professional help and not use the media and his audience as some kind of therapy session where he acts out his delusions and paranoid fantasies.

He will just end up sucking in other mentally troubled people into his world of hate and fear. Not a good outcome for anyone.

7. He's needed professional help -

and a lot of it - ever since his adolescence. I think he was a teenager when his father killed himself, and that's a kind of death sentence for a kids that age.

He'll just speak to the crazies, yes, and spread his sickness....................

I would never waste my time watching some one like him . Like you say he caters to bottom feeders yet their are people on this site that watch and listen to him every day!

2. I think it's the other way around -- Baby Beck was the total *loser* in high school.

He was the one bullied. He just figured out as an adult how to rally the other losers around him, and voila! his own FUX teevee show. And he and his handlers are laughing all the way to the bank.

8. Mr. Beck has serious issues

this is one person I believe, who is trying to maintain his position on the Fox channel. Look closely at his disposition and you will see that he is playing a role. You know, like an actor. He knows not what he is saying. nothing makes sense.He hasn't grown into his manhood yet. I feel sorry for him. Lets say a prayer.
