2. Huffington Post is part of the entertainment news media. They work the same way than the MSM |

Unfortunately, a large part of the headlines have been focused on Bill Clinton (for good or bad) rather than the accomplishment itself and the way it was done in a larger sense.

4. Some of the other long time commentors have been noting that HuffPo has descended into Tabloid |

headlines that don't match the article.
It's sad. I used to like HuffPo.

7. Hillary Clinton is the SoS. She is a member of the Obama Administration. |

Since Bill Clinton's mission was not officially sanctioned, there's no way she could have acted.
I love HuffPo, but this is wrong.

Too many scripts and too much dependence on sensationalist headlines, not to mention they've never broken their ties to AOL.

Take a peek at Maureen Dowd's column in today's NYTimes. (I make it a rule never to read her, but occasionally I scan the column. As you might expect, she's taken the opportunity to piss on Hillary once again.

12. Dumb headline! Credit should go to the entire BHO team - Bill, Hillary Obama! |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-05-09 02:58 PM by sledgehammer
Lots of criticism in the comments (approaching 20,000 - highest number of comments I've ever seen for a HuffPo article). Still, HuffPo is sticking with the headline.
I love the site generally, but I know Arianna is no Hillary fan. This is a cheap move, and completely unnecessary when something so huge has been accomplished.
The BHO team rocks, love having them at the top.
