Maybe it's time for progressive/leftists/Democrats to attend these meetings and counter the screaming of the conservatives/rightists/Republicans by pointing out the advantages of having universal, single-payer health care. Particularly the advantage of having good emergency room and orthopedic-care coverage!

on edit: Also good dental coverage, too.

I don't remember seeing of late any videos where these tactics are being employed. Perhaps you could provide links?
I seem to recall taking the high road with many transgressions of the Bushitas. Didn't help much, but at least the "high road" gave us a good view.
on edit: Oh, and the violence you say I'm advocating is already there. Too bad the cops who escorted the vocal protesters at Sen. Baucus's Senate hearings weren't there to help escort these screamers out...

folks in Indiana managed to do an end-run around the screamers without even resorting to these tactics, I think they have a high chance of success. What you propose will result in no discussion, possible violence and arrests, and video that will be shown relentlessly and used to justify even more aggressive tactics in the future. Not a good strategy.
