Now, I'm wanting to get a health care bill in place to make sure these people get all the mental healthcare they need.

Today's Republicans hold Teabagging Parties to protest higher taxes - just after they got the biggest tax cut in a decade.

Today's Republicans think Obama isn't a citizen - in spite of all the vetting RNC, McCain and Hillary would have done.

Today's Republicans support a Tammy Faye eyelash wearing, Russian immigrant, Israeli dentist mail order lawyer as their champion in the cause to prove Obama wasn't born here - even O'Reilly and Coulter think they're nuts

Today's Republicans constantly spout off about 'family values' - while hooking up with pages, frequent prostitutes, pick up men in airport bathrooms or maintain their South American mistresses in style. All while claiming they're God's Chosen

Today's Republicans make speeches on the floor with such ass-hatted talking points as the Federal Government wants to kill your Grandma. While they constantly yell about how incompetent "Government" is - do they ever realize that they are Government?

I'm sure there's a disease listed in the mental health profession that would explain such a disconnect from reality. They sure aren't the type of Republican my grandfather was.

6. I completely agree with that - but it still doesn't explain how so many

can be loud and protesting against things that are exactly opposite of what they claim to stand for. I never would have believed that so many people could be convinced to actively fight reality. I'm fine with people having a different opinion about how to do things or fix problems - even what the role of government should be.

But everytime lately that I think they can't out do themselves in the just plain crazy department lately, they manage to prove me wrong. Our Congresswoman is Virginia Foxx - and she is right up there at the top of the heap.

that you will find town hall protesters showing up screaming about "Obamacare" "socialized medicine" and "guvmint run health care" are medicare recipients who also scream about "keep your hands off my medicare".

10. It is a frightening thought....

I keep thinking of those old clips of documentary footage showing the Germans standing up and yelling approval at the Nazis while the rest of the world suffered and burned. These people are not that much different.

If you told them that their medicare was a government program, they would either deny it, or feel a perfect entitlement to it anyway because of who they think they are.

It reminds me of Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols plotting, and succeeding, in blowing up the federal building in Oklahoma City after being the recipients of student loans, farm loans and any other government largesse they could scrape out of the system they wanted so badly to destroy.
