If we needed any more proof of the idiocy of the protesters at the town |

halls, it was shown by the people standing right near the guy with the gun. No matter if they agree with him or not, none of them had enough common sense to think that if a fly had landed on his nose and he twitched, that there were probably a number of snipers trained on him that would have opened fire with them standing right in the trajectories.

1. That joker was hoping to get his 15 minutes of fame. Epic fail, hayseed. |
|
Luckily for the people around him, he didn't succeed

2. He got his 15 minutes. |
|
He was on Hardball yesterday. Now look for him to become a darling of faux noise. This guy has got to be the first American ever to be rewarded by bringing a gun to a town hall meeting with the President of the United States.
Unbelievable.

4. Seriously. One of the Iraq War protesters in 2003 .. |
|
... here in Indy got arrested for simply "throwing a stick" (which happened to be a wooden pole holding the Peace Flag, and he didn't throw it, he tripped while running along the sidewalk and it flew out of his hands) at Dimson's limo.
So why isn't this clown with a real weapon and real intent in jail somewhere??

5. Imagine being at one of *'s events with a gun concealed or not.... |
|
the point is this isn't about "the right" its about common sense. Remember how we all have been reminded things changed after 911.

I know that you can legally carry a weapon if it is in plain view, but my god, strapping a gun to your thigh? He looked ridiculous. And inbred. How small of a dick and brain do you have to have to feel the need to bring a gun to a townhall? All I saw was a pathetic, sad little human being who had to bring a gun to a normally peaceful gathering in order to feel like a man.

10. I welcome seeing the law you cite. |
|
If there is such a law it may be mitigiated by the fact that the President came to his vicinity and he was on private property carrying the weapon lawfully, but I don't know.

7. It's possible those people around him were planted Secret Service/FBI |
|

who were waiting for him to twitch.
The follow up news about him shows he has a high profile on the internet. Way too easy to spot. Just because it takes us by surprise doesn't mean the powers that be don't have whole dossiers on these fringe groups. He's part of a group who are openly moving to New Hampshire to start up their own communities. I would be shocked if the FBI don't already know a lot about him.
