The "gun show" in Phoenix was a set up. |
|
Edited on Tue Aug-18-09 02:13 PM by dgibby
On CNN now, Rick Sanchez interviewing Ernest Hancock, a Libertarian radio host. Hancock and "Chris", the guy with the semi-automatic, were friends who planned the "interview", even notified the Phoenix PD and had "police protection" for their right to open carry. Hancock was also armed.
Next up, a SS agent will discuss the interview Rick just did with Hancock.
Unfucking believable!

19. I actually know the 2 idiots who pulled this little stunt |
|
They are active in the local libertarian community and the guy interviewing the guy with the gun is named Ernie Hancock. The whole thing was staged for his website.

6. The interview was set up. |
|
"Chris", the guy carrying a gun outside the town hall meeting with Obama, was a friend of the guy doing the interview, Ernest Hancock. They planned the interview ahead of time, notified the police that they would be there with their guns. What looked like a "spontaneous" interview with someone armed with a gun at a Presidential event was actually not what it appeared to be at all. It was a political statement about gun rights.

9. I believe the Phoenix thing was set up. |

It seems that those wackos want us to get used to seeing guns at these gatherings. The guns could be loaded , making is easy to shoot the president, just a black one. When bush was in office, people couldn't even have a political bumper sticker.

10. This is no surprise. They had their very own tightly edited video of the event. |
|
You really didn't think this was some spontaneous reaction, did you? "Chris" may be the most attention craving wingnut this side of Wasilla.

Just glad to see conformation from the horse's mouth (Hancock). He also told Rick that "Chris" was hiding from him (Rick). I take that to mean the entire MSM, and not just Rick. Guess he's afraid he'll shoot up the mic if someone asks him a question he doesn't like! Easy to be brave when you're locked and loaded. Not so much when it comes to just answering questions.

13. They had 'police protection.' |

Assholes. Like the police don't have better things to do at an Obama event than protect these idiots.
Get a clue. This is about health care and Obama isn't going to take away your guns. It's not about you.
