It Took All Day But I Finally Broke Down And Cried

There's absolutely nothing anybody can say about the Kennedys.

I can't think of any other family that has devoted itself so much to service of country. They fought and died in our wars, and they constantly spoke up for people less fortunate than themselves.

Not only the sons, but the daughters are admirable as well.

I don't know what else one can do.

I was raised thinking that that was what an American is. Heart and soul.

1. From WWII to the Peace Corps to a Man on the Moon
From Special Olympics to the environment and hopefully on to health care.

They really define not only America, but what America is supposed to mean in the world.

3. And the Old Lion Passed The Torch
didn't he?

He was very vocal about doing so.

I take heart in that.

5. I was listening to Ed Schultz, and he was playing some of Ted's speeches, and imitating
the way he would greet him.

Yup..... tears.

8. Yes,, it was a work of art. And artful how he worked in health care.
Having on Rep. Keith Ellison was wonderful!

I'm a fool... I kept hoping for a miracle til the end. Today is a very sad day.

What could have been!

9. I too hoped the cancer would not get the best of him. It seemed like he rebounded from the surgery
for a while there. Lord the man had such strength.

Oh well, it is a sad day indeed.

11. I plan to hold onto the denial as long as I can.
For a man who worked so tirelessly for justice, this was incredibly unjust!

The one bill he so desperately wanted to pass!

Wow, he just gave so much of himself to others and fought so hard for us. His voice is going to be missed.
