EFCA "off the Senate's radar..." per Harry Reid
As the Senator of my state which is notorious for low median income and high energy and housing costs this shows a real lack of concern. Understand there's a lot on the plate right now but come on.

Reid also said the Employee Free Choice Act, which would make union-organizing easier through measures such as card-check votes and mandatory binding arbitration, is off the Senate's radar for now.

"We have too many other things on our plate," he said.

3. There was a compromise removing card check from EFCA.
The prospect of Congress passing a watered-down EFCA isn't exciting.

7. That version would stop me from ever voting Dem ever again too.
W/o card check EFCA has zero bite to it. It'd be a useless piece of legislation.

Dems are wandering into dangerous territory. Their on the verge of pushing their entire progressive base out of the oarty and toward a third party.

I'll vote Socialist Party.

4. He truly is useless.
Has he done anything for us since we gained the majority?

6. No EFCA signed into law by Nov 2010, NO MORE VOTING FOR DEMS FOR THIS CAT.
EFCA to me is nearly as important as HC reform.

8. This is not going to happen
No Republicans are for it and almost half the Democrats are opposed asd well. Maybe in a few years but it isn't going to happen within Obama's first term.

9. Now that Democrats no longer have any excuse not to pass EFCA, they remove it from consideration.
I think I'm sensing the beginning of a trend.

He can't get anything done.
