I wonder how shocked the Kennedy family is, especially his |
|
grandchildren, at the turnout in Boston today?
I'm watching m$nbc and the funeral cortege just arrived in Boston. The crowds are thick, clapping, waving flags, it's a sight to behold and a lovely show of respect for all the Kennedys.
And I'm going to cry again. :(

Beautiful moments I hope the family can find strength in.
Edit for correction.

2. They're not shocked. Boston has always loved the Kennedy family, |
|
going all the way back to Honey Fitz. No surprise at all.

3. Those grandkids might be. They loved their granddad but might |
|
not know how popular he was.
Also, it's summertime, and the crowds still showed up. I think it's amazing.

5. Nah, I think the younger generation has a strong sense of who their family is |
|
I doubt any but the very youngest are surprised. We're talking MA here.

9. People will be cheering at Bush's funeral, too |
|
And what do motivations matter anyway, in the grand scheme of things?

7. I was looking at a photo gallery yesterday and realized that |
|
at Eunice's service less than two weeks ago, Vicki and others already knew this was coming. :(

11. I pretty much knew when he couldn't get to Eunice's service. |

They must be bone-tired of mourning. :(
