Anyone here had trouble with Animal Control in you city?
The situation in Kansas City has gotten bad - these guys seem to have completely forgotten about the Constitution.

Any other stories from other cities?

4. from time to time they claim they've run out of money and thus don't control animals

i think wild dog packs running loose and mauling 9 yr olds prob. violates my right to freedom from fear or some such shit...but i doubt it's in the constitution

down here the shelters are full and unless your sainted grandma is being eaten alive right this freaking minute, just get your shotgun, because animal control prob. can't help you

somehow i don't think that's what you're about though

give us a hint -- i've heard of cases (national not local) since at least 1990 where you are not secure from a search by animal control which in theory violates the 4th amendment but i've had many enemies, including the DEA, and they have never ever used that particular excuse to give me a search???

9. They should hire my girl.
German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She caught a few in the area when she learned how to open the front door to run around the hills. Seems completely constitutional.

10. I own 2 dogs also.. but these things breed like rabbits, literally. can't keep up
I guess they find places to live in yards where people don't own dogs. Also small enough to get through places dogs can't follow

It is a losing battle.
