Ed Schultz Town Hall Meeting Member Asks "Where is Harry Reid? Why hasn't he grown a set"
If you didn't hear the Ed Schultz Boulder CO Town Hall Meeting radio show yesterday you really missed a great bunch of people asking some very poignant questions! One was the man who asked "Where is Harry Reid? Why hasn't he grown a set?" Great question!

Here is the video of this about 5 min. into the Ed Schultz MSNBC show last night.

14. We need to finally get beyond the last 8 years. There is a new team in town,
and they are making big mistakes.

By continuing to only police the RW, we are going to lose all we have worked for.

The DEMS need to be held accountable.

2. Reid is facing a tough reelection battle in 2010
Surely that influences everything he does. A July 30, 2009 Vitale & Associates poll put him behind Sue Lowden (R) 42% to 48%. The poll was commissioned by Lowden supporters.

Poll: Reid would lose if Lowden were to run

Republican Sue Lowden would defeat incumbent Democratic Sen. Harry Reid by 6 percentage points in a head-to-head matchup, according to a poll of likely Nevada voters.

<snip>

The findings reaffirm the notion that Reid is in trouble in his home state, despite expectations that he will raise as much as $25 million to maintain his grip on the seat, said those behind the poll.

<snip>

In three Reid-related categories -- image, approval and whether they would vote to re-elect -- respondents gave the senator a thumbs down. Just 39 percent viewed Reid favorably, and 34 percent said they would vote to re-elect him.

<snip>

The unemployment figure of more than 12 percent is likely contributing to Reid's low approval rating. The poll showed the economy was respondents' greatest concern. "We've been going through a really tough recession that has hit Nevada really hard, and that is having an effect on how people view their leaders," Hall said.

An August 18, 2009 Mason Dixon/LVJR poll put Reid behind Lowden 40% to 45%, and behind Danny Tarkanian (R) 38% to 49%.

3. Imagine the groveling Reid has to do to raise $25 million.
and people wonder why he can't lead. His owners won't let him.

4. If Reid has to put his tail under his butt to win then I say "Go out fighting" damn it!
Edited on Tue Sep-01-09 08:42 AM by 1776Forever
If he has to pay to play then get out of the damn arena! If he has a soul and a conviction and is in the "game" for a reason and wants people to believe in him then get up and fight! And if not get the hell out of the way and give the Leadership in the Senate up to someone "that does have a set"!

6. Folks with balls got us in this mess. You don't need a "set" to have moral fortitude. It's an insult

7. It is a saying - not a factual saying - a woman can "have a set" too - duh!
Edited on Tue Sep-01-09 08:47 AM by 1776Forever
I am not referring to them as a physical "set" but a fortitude of courage to stand up and fight!

8. That's awfully white of you to say that!
Yeah, telling black people they're 'white' is NOT a compliment.

12. It's not a compliment to women to say they have balls just as it is not a compliment to a
black person to say they're 'white'.
