Did anybody catch Anthony Bourdain's comment on Sean Hannity last night?
His show 'No Reservations' was set in Montana and he made some comment about seeking evidence of Sean Hannity's brain.

9. It used to be before it started repeating itself.
Go somewhere, eat weird food, wax poetic, eat normal food, talk to a local, the end.

3. I'd heard Max Baucus was giving it a try...
but had rejected it due to its stench that keeps voters away.

17. No, with clothes on.
He's a long drink of gray water; gray hair, gray jean jacket, gray jeans. He's really skinny.

(I can't believe he posed with that bone-r)

4. He was fly fishing, and when he actually caught a fish he said:
"Like the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot, or evidence of Sean Hannity's brain, I never thought this would ever happen..."

8. Anthony is very savvy. He should branch out and do other things than food-travel.
He has a wonderfully twisted sense of irony that would lend itself to political reporting.

11. That's my only problem with his show, as well.
His shows are becoming pat.

I like him - he's funny as hell - but the shows bore the pants off of me (hmmm.... maybe that's why my husband DVRs them. )

13. Bourdain is like Hemingway in a chef's coat.
The "No reservations" show where he was caught up in the bombing of Beirut was one of the most amazing pieces of TV I have ever seen. You can read his incredible account here: http://www.salon.com/mwt/feature/2006/07/28/bourdain_beirut/

15. Big fan...
Tuned in one day by accident and saw him chowing down on this decadent sandwich of a fried pork chop, ham, bacon and cheese. Called it the "Three Little Pigs." I've loved him ever since.

Wouldn't recommend seconds on the sandwich unless you have a cast iron stomach. Or enjoy staring at your toilet bowl for 20 minutes straight.

19. i hate when bourdain gets too political
like on his border episode, but i thought this was funny.

i like bourdain because he's not a kneejerk person, in general.

for example, in his episode where he met with nugent, he got along great with the guy and had good things to say about him.

ditto for others at various places in the political spectrum.

fwiw, hannity IS an idiot. even some of my repub friends think he is an idiot.

they may agree with his politics, but stupid is stupid

i agree with bourdain on a lot
1) hannity is an idiot
2) pork fat is good
3) the pig is a noble beast
4) PORK
5) food nazis suck (many of these on the left unfortunately)
6) CRISPY PORK!
7) PORK SKIN!
8) Sea Urchin!

i also like the way he talks openly about drugs and stuff. iow, that one can be successful and still engaged (or have engaged) in occasional recreational drug use.

that is refreshingly politically incorrect.
