Politico is a plant that gets far too much coverage.
That fact was finely veiled when GW called on them pretending them to be random coverage from the blogopshere.

It was totally transparent and a total ruse.

Just sayin'

1. Politico has been hard reich for as long as I can remember.

They do try throw lefties a bone once in awhile to keep up appearances of a main stream fair and balanced outfit but anyone with half a brain knows their soul is bought and paid for by the reich wing! Case in point, Cheney gave them one of his first exclusive interviews when he crawled out of his undisclosed swamp to start bashing anything and everything Obama.

4. Reportedly Cheney's office and Politico HQ are in the same building
Interpret that however you like, but it certainly explains how they were able to find him for an interview before he decided to transform from "The Invisible Man" to "Sith Lord of All Media".

2. Yep - Not To Be Trusted
I wish MSNBC would stop pretending like they are non-biased good guys!

I feel like I'm getting spun round and round when Mike Allen opens his mouth.

3. I remember that news conference
As soon as GW repeated the name to be sure it was heard, I suspected a plant.
