I am "pissy-faced"---I am in "high dudgeon"---I'm ready to "kick ass and take names": I am so sick to damn death of arrogant, hypocritical, got-mine-so-to-hell-with-you Republicans and their lower-than-whale-shit Blue Dog enablers that I am beyond even TRYING to be civil or upbeat or tolerant or thoughtful or---I AM PISSED!!

Are there REALLY any sorry sons-o-bitches out there who STILL want to "play nice" with those opposing health care? Everyone who even occasionally pulls their head out of their ass has known for months that Grassley and the boys had no intention of ever supporting ANY Democratic health care legislation. And, they have now ADMITTED just exactly that!

Democrats need to take a page right out of W's song book.(Yeah, I'm THAT pissed!). They should caucus and the "leadership"---counting---slowly---nine, ten---should make it clear to ALL that "you're either for us or you're against us". And, the cost of being against us should be spelled out in bold red print: primary opponents all round; NO party monetary support; loss of committee appointments. I'd like to think that between DU and like-minded groups, we could insure loud liberal protestors at every public appearance for a year.

As for the Republicans---new strategy: IGNORE the bastards! If they threaten filibuster, tell them to go for it, but REALLY filibuster. Let's let CSPAN show them reading grits recipes while they piss into a can and slump over the podium after a couple of days of "holding the floor". Democrats should pull up their chairs and pop some corn if the GOP is really stupid enough---am I really questioning that?---to threaten a filibuster!

If Obama and our Democratic Congress either fail to get a health care bill passed or pass a watered-down GOP-approved gift to insurers, we will lose Congress in 2010 and the White House in 2012. Are you ready for that?

"Half a loaf" is NOT better than none. Half a loaf is UNACCEPTABLE! It is time for our President, our Congressmen, our Senators, our labor leaders and our activists everywhere to put all the chips on the table and challenge the self-serving SOBs on the other side to do the same. We are either going to pass a strong public option and go on to govern for at least another 7 1/2 years or we are going to do "something else" and go down in flames listening to the smiling smirking neo-con thugs saying "I told you so!" to anyone who will listen.

You want "bipartisan"? How's this: BOTH the Republicans AND the Blue Dogs can kiss my liberal ass!
