People who have a "deficit" can still function. In Beck's case, "deficit" is better replaced by "absence". And Attention Absence Hyperactivity is no longer a disorder, it's batshit crazy.

His schtick is engineered, cynical, calculated, and designed solely to bring in money for him and maybe his employers. He knows exactly what he's doing, just as do Michael Savage, Levin, Hannity and Limbaugh.

I am now often criticized of for my attention to detail and focusing too much on this or that.

Psychology has produced some great stuff, especially in the last 30 years but the ADD/ADHD thing is pretty damn silly.

Beck is either a paranoid schizo, or a cynical evil sack of shit... or both.
