Maybe I've missed it, but has Sen. "Turd" Conrad from NoDak issued any statements |
|
on how dead the public option is since the prgressives in House have started to push back? It seems to me that there has been a growing effort in defense of the public option, but I haven't heard anything from the Senators in Max Baucus' ad hoc "bipartisan" commision.
Has anybody seen this?

1. This is not about one person, but actually for the very soul of the Democratic party |
|
I have upmost faith that the progressives will stand firm, they will NOT vote for a bill unless it has a public option
They don't have a public option, the Democrats will pay a heavy price

2. True enough, but (and maybe this is a little petty of me) |
|
I would LOOOOOVE to see the smugness wiped off of Mr "The public option is dead--there aren't enough votes."
