People need to remember, there is a lot of money involved... |
|
in this healthcare debate. People, including Congressmen and Senators, are invested in insurance company stocks. Financial reporters on the cable news networks are heavily invested in insurance company stocks. It has been very, very good for them.
They are protecting their portfolios at the expense of the average American. They will do whatever they have to do. They will scream and yell and intimidate whomever they can, especially at townhall meetings. They will lie and exaggerate the facts whenever it is to their benefit.
Follow the money. That is an old axiom we have heard forever. It is still true today. Look who is getting the contributions from the insurance companies. Look who is invested in these companies. This is a big business. Some might call it a scam. But it is worth almost a half-trillion dollars every year.
However, the majority does not have such huge investments in these companies. They have the power, the money, and the means of propaganda. We only have the truth.

|
