what kindof bastards evacuate, and leave caged dogs to burn alive?

Lance Williams, 49, managed to save his aunt's home in Delta Flats, a remote community tucked in a canyon in the Angeles National Forest, but returned Tuesday to find his neighbors' homes in ashes.

"It looked like hell," Williams said. "The fire was creating its own winds. There was no way of predicting which way it would go."

He said he used a water pump to fight off the firestorm that raced down hillsides into the canyon. By the time he ran out of water, fire crews had arrived to defend the home that had been in his family since 1945.

Near the remains of house, the charred frames of animal cages swayed in a light wind. In one of the cages, the remains of three small dogs were found.

10. much better to let them burn alive in their cages where they'd have aboslutely no chance
then for some to have a chance to survive. It's not like this fire hasn't been burning and spreading for a while. I'm sure there was no time to prepare for the evacuation of the animals. :sarcasm:

12. My sister had 30 cats when she had to evacuate in the Witch Fire.
She already had a plan and got every one of them out with her. Three died later from the stress. But none of them from smoke or ash.

If you have animals YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM.

11. thank you.
THANK YOU AGAIN.

As if people can't value human life AND care about animals at the same time, as if there aren't enough brain cells to go around to do both at once. Maybe that's the problem.

WTF.

16. Heartless MF-er, indeed!
A responsible owner has an evacuation plan that includes their animals. There are people with acreage who prepare for every creature under their care.

5. I hope the owners are cited for animal abuse. Probably decided they
needed to save the big TV so they could watch Faux news wherever they go and had no room in the car
for the dogs.

You hope there is a hell for people like that so they can spend eternity writhing and scared
and alone. Bastards.

7. The same kind of bastards
Who leave animals tied up to drown during hurricanes

Who move and abandon pets to fend for themselves with the neighbors (I currently am feeding several of those; one of these cats couldn't even walk due to starvation when I first saw him)

Who try to feed a 6 week old kitten to a python, and when the snake won't take the bait, drop-kicks the kitten, killing it (don't have a link, but it's all over the news today; I saw the horrific video before leaving for work this morning)

Who thinks it's okay to toss live chicks into a meat grinder because they like chicken and have no intention of stopping eating it

Then I come over here, and find that many so-called liberals and progressives try to justify these horrific acts of cruelty

I am pretty much done with "human life". I really don't care anymore what happens to people.

13. A lot of people think of dogs and cats as tools....
and nothing more. I had a neighbor who moved and left his young female pitbull in the backyard. He came back to the house to pick up his last belongings and I asked about the dog. He said he'd just let animal control take it.

15. Well unless they went to work and not allowed back in.
I know a few people that crate the pups when they leave the house. Sometimes the fire is so fact that a few hours everything changes. So this sucks, but I am not sure it is evil.

Just say'ng
