Description On September 2, 2009 We are hosting a Public Option Health Care Reform Candle Light Vigil at Grand Circus Park. Please bring medium size flash light or a enclosed candle to illuminate our important event. Please feel free to make and bring your special Health Care Sign.
Do not make or bring derogatory signs. Our event is a peaceful expression of a needed Public Option Health Care Reform Package for all Americans in need of Health Care.
We will meet at 6:00pm at the Hazen Pingree Bell in Grand Circus Park. Our Candle Light Vigil will start at 7:30 pm on Woodward Ave.




don't know if all 102 showed up, looked like about 80 to me but maybe some didn't stay long and then others showed up.

Probably about 200 people were there. People spoke for an hour talking about health care nightmares as well as folks from Britain who told of the lies they are hearing about the NHS. One of the people speaking was a friend of mine, who was uninsurable before she turned 22.

8. Winograd4Congress Marina Del Rey Honk for Health Care Reform
There were 2 vigils in LA last night (I believe). One in MDR (Marina del Rey) organized by Marcy Winograd 4 Congress. Marcy is a huge supporter of Single-Payer and she is running against Jane Harman in the CA-36th District. The other vigil was in front of Dianne Feinstein's office.
