98% waxing gibbous moon shrouded in smoke from N. Cali fires
It's hot and dry with stong, hot Chinook winds (gusts to 50+) today
and tonight. Every lookout I talk with (on the FS cell phone net) is
nervous. Seems that we are all thinking more about evac routes and
procedures. There is a lot of drift smoke .. heavy drift smoke .. in
the air.
