So, where was Levi's conscience in October/November 2008?
For anyone acting like his recent article is some goldmine of information why wasn't he revealing this back when Palin was potentialy one heartbeat away from the White House?

Is it possible that Levi was more focused on the possibility of hanging at the Observatory with his pals than the fact that his potential mother-in-law was a fraud being pushed on the voters as some accomplished politician and family-values champion.

Johnson should be treated with same contempt that should be directed to Scott McClellan, Tom Ridge, and anyone else who kept their mouth shut until it became more financially lucrative for them to open it.

4. See I think you're wrong there. When Bristol called off the wedding and then
denied him the ability to see the baby earlier in the year I think that was the trigger.

5. The message and the messenger should never be confused. They aren't the same thing.
The information is what is important.

Is the information true? If so, then the rest is immaterial.

12. "you have to be carefully taught"
This young man Levi, had top-notched teachers: Sen. John McCain, Governor of Alaska and all of their campaign staff members along with the MSM which knew the "rest of the story," but failed to tell it. Levi got an education on how to con a con. In their eyes, he would be a fool not to prosper from it.

17. that's a phrase used frequently around my house.
"South Pacific," which most of us today would consider a slightly hokey but otherwise innocuous musical, was actually quite controversial in its day. When Lieutenant Cable confronts Nellie Forbush with her prejudice, he confronted a nation.

Rogers and Hammerstein knew.

Cable:
You've got to be taught
To hate and fear,
You've got to be taught
From year to year,
It's got to be drummed
In your dear little ear
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a diff'rent shade,
You've got to be carefully taught.

You've got to be taught before it's too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate,
You've got to be carefully taught!

18. I read somewhere yesterday that he has one of the best lawyers in Alaska representing him.
I have a feeling that his kiss and tell is 100% accurate.

Sarah was threatening to sue bloggers at a drop of hat..although it's only been a day, not a whisper from her camp.

7. you might wanna look at the history of what happened to levi --
he thought that he and bristol were going to be a couple -- he thought he was going to have access to his baby -- so and so forth.

i think he's great -- and unlike pallin and her tribe i wish him well.

he provides a personal account of someone who we knew was incompetent as governor -- and some possible notiions as to why.

Who took up with and fathered a child in another messed up family. I don't mind him getting his 15 minutes of fame. It'll fade soon enough, and he will sink back into obscurity.

20. Neh, you're holding an uneducated, immature kid to a standard that sophisticated MEDIA types didn't
live up to, not to mention all the Shrubbite fellow travellers. He hasn't said anything that is NOT true, or there would have been counter-proofs flooding in. What he's saying is DESTROYING the Sarah myths and exposing her followers for the hypocrites they are.

23. He's what, nineteen years old?
Did you make perfect decisions when you were nineteen? How about facing scrutiny from international press and the entire country?

I don't think much of Levi Johnston, but he's at least speaking up now, hopefully preventing Palin from a 2012 run. The only people that listen to her now are never going to stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

26. He was 18 years old. Probably had that invisible shotgun held
to his back. "You will do this Levi." "You will do that Levi."

He was used. I don't think he had a choice other than to do what the McCain/Palin campaign wanted him to do. As far as speaking out then, I doubt the campaign gave access to anyone from the media to speak to him alone.

28. Are You For Real?
Do you honestly think anyone is applying any kind of journalistic or political integrity to Levi Fucking Johnson?

He's not a reporter. He's not a politician. He's a nineteen year old kid who knocked up the daughter of the Governor of Alaska, who was then thrown into the national spotlight. What part of that compells you to believe that he had an obligation to sell out his then-gravy train, and what part compells you to be shocked at his lack of integrity for doing so know that the previous gravy train has derailed?

For the life of me, I'll never understand the animosity people have for this kid. Is it because he's dumb? Good-looking? Fathered a child out of wedlock? What?
