The anti-tax people and their McMansions.
These people make me sick. They built a bunch of these Mcmansions out in the country. They are against taxes.
Now they are coming to the table and demanding that we taxpayers pave their roads because their homes are getting dusty.

Well, effing cry me a river.

1. Would other people in their communities benefit from the roads?
Or are these strictly gated communities?

2. Are the homes within the city limits?
Then the city has a duty to pave their roads, regardless. They may be against taxes, sure, but they still probably pay them, and if that's the case, they should demand decent city services in return.

3. We have a township like that up here but its their police force
Every other township of their size has their own police. These fuckers get state police protection and bitch about having to pay for it.

6. Yep
True....NW is part of the fucking yuppy-ass Parkland school district, but the citizenry is putting up a good fight to try to keep Wal-Mart out.

8. The saddest thing is
the VAST majority of the anti-tax people don't live in mansions. Most of them don't have a pot to piss in. They are in the lowest tax brackets, assuming they pay any taxes at all. Like Joe the Plumber who lamented about tax policy that was going to prevent him from buying a commercial plumbing business with net profits over $250k on his $20,000 a year salary. Riiight.
