The Others are UGLY
The Others: anyone who proudly claims the label "wingnut," teabaggers, birthers, deathers, Moral Minority crowd, etc.

ug⋅ly

–adjective, -li⋅er, -li⋅est.
1. very unattractive or unpleasant to look at; offensive to the sense of beauty; displeasing in
appearance.
2. disagreeable; unpleasant; objectionable: ugly tricks; ugly discords.
3. morally revolting: ugly crime.
4. threatening trouble or danger: ugly symptoms.
5. mean; hostile; quarrelsome: an ugly mood; an ugly frame of mind.
6. (esp. of natural phenomena) unpleasant or dangerous: ugly weather; an ugly sea.

NOT ONLY ARE THEY UGLY -- IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD -- THEY ARE UNPATRIOTIC AND, THOUGH THE VAST MAJORITY WILL CLAIM THEY'RE "CHRISTIAN," THEY GIVE JESUS A BAD NAME. THEY GIVE ANYTHING TO WHICH THEY ATTACH THEIR ALLEGIANCE A BAD NAME.

THEY'VE LOST THEIR HUMANITY, AND THEY MAKE ME ASHAMED TO BE PART OF THE SAME...ANYTHING.

THEY ARE PATHETIC, DISGUSTING AND IRRELEVANT.

YET THEY CONTINUE TO WRAP THEMSELVES IN THE FLAG AND SOIL IT WITH THEIR HYPOCRISY, IGNORANCE, HATRED AND FEAR.

1. Oh well, what are a few more enemies? If you're 50 and wearing a Lynard Skynard t-shirt... DORK.

5. There's much to comment about those pics,
but that one jumped out at me as well...in a LOL sort of way. What a dope.

2. i don't agree about "looks"- looks really don't matter- but there are
many who oppose this administration who are rude, disrespectful, arrogant, hypocritical, violent, selfish, cruel and corrupt.

Sadly, there are many who seem to see those qualities as something to be proud of-

Let's work on exposing the negativeness for all to see. If people don't reject it, we can't force them to. I believe there are many who don't really like the direction they are going, and if they could see the truth of who they are becoming, will choose a different approach. Even if they still oppose "us"- at least it will be honest opposition, rather than mob or group led hatred.

3. I wasn't referring to external looks either, even though that's the obvious use....

of the word ugly. "morally revolting" is what resonates with me when I see these people.

I don't see physical attributes in these images; I see hatred and anger.

7. sorry- i was
taking you too literally.

You meant the expressions, not the features- i can agree with that.

Thanks for clarifying.

4. Ever watch CSPAN, and w/o looking at their name/affiliation, try to 'spot the fundie?'
Seriously. I know it sounds trivial, but many of them really do have an odd, Stepfordish appearance. Usually a phony demeanor, and strange hair.

6. i've known some very attractive people with very ugly
cruel, destructive attitudes- i've also known more than a few people who aren't very visually appealing who are incredibly beautiful if you look with more than your eyes-

I understand what you are trying to say, but i can't go there, because experience has shown me how wrong and unfair that is.
and i hate the way i feel when i fall back into old ruts.

9. Oh, I know exactly what you mean. Some of the worst are the most handsome/prettiest
Some of those learn early on how to manipulate others based entirely on that perception.

And of course it's not always so simple. The OP made me think of the CSPAN thing, though. For myself I can differentiate between circumstances/situations re how I read people ... physical appearance actually says a great deal about someone, but you're correct in that it doesn't always state the obvious.
