Teabagger-backed alternative to Obama's school speech is riddled with basic errors.
If you're going to present an alternative school program for people who think that letting kids hear a pep talk from the President is akin to sending them to Mao's re-education camps, you'd think you'd at least demonstrate a sixth-grade understanding of grammar and punctuation.

But over at the teabagger-backed website (http://www.hallpassonthat.com) offering their own program for people fearing the power of Obama's mind-ray on the tender gray-matter of little Caitlin, Madison, Landry, and their unsuspecting classmates, their "Pre-K Rewrite" contains pearls of erudition such as the following:

"To whom do you think it is important for your parents to speak to?"

"Teachers can chart ideas about what they would say?"

"Why is it important that we listen to our parents and question what our President and other elected officials, like the mayor, senators, members of congress, or the governor?"

"Are we able to do what your parent’s are asking us?"

And while we're at it, what's the powerful cogitation behind these gems:

During the speech, it suggests, "Liberals can draw pictures and write as appropriate."

And, in a section titled "Extension of the speech", it suggests this (and remember, we're talking Pre-K here): "Interview and share about their goals with one another to let other children know about how superior their ideas are and how much harder other children will have to work to keep up with them."

Coming soon: Ayn Rand coloring books, "How Black is My Helicopter?", and "Stranger Danger: Taking from you according to your abilities, giving you rides and candy according to your needs."

3. "...hostility towards the very tenants of our republic..."
I believe the word they were looking for was "tenets".

Unless they're talking about rent control.

6. It's important for your mission-statement to end strong:
"The Nationwide Tea Party Coalition cannot afford to extend this administration the courtesy of any doubt when it comes to the education of our children and our schools are not the place to present one-sided agendas, especially without parental consent."

Like the whole teabagging movement, it aims to make sense, but the arrow misses the target and ends up in a tire on someone's truck.

7. The website registrant is one "Mark Skoda".

Apparently the same guy here, on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mark.skoda?__a=1

He can also be seen here, addressing a teabag rally, replete with signs threatening the president's life, and even misspelling his name: http://www.memphisflyer.com/TheDailyBuzz/archives/2009/04/16/tea-party-on

He's hearing voices from somewhere.
